At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. You are currently registered as an apprentice in the province of Ontario. We are looking for automotive technicians who can work independently as well as collaboratively with peers. We have a full-service facility and are seeking automotive technicians to help us create a successful environment! THIS IS NOT A FLAT RATE JOB!

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
• Repair and service tires
• Maintain heating and air conditioning systems
• Work on steering and suspension systems
• Replace belts and hoses
• Service radiator and engine cooling systems
• Handle batteries, starting, and charging systems
• Perform brake repairs
• Conduct oil services
• Address check engine light issues
• Maintain mufflers and exhaust systems
• Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics
• Proven high personal productivity
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards
• Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools and equipment, including diagnostic scanners (preferred)
• Ability to service both import and domestic vehicles

Compensation : $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
