Your area of focus.

As an Autobody Apprentice Technician, you’ll focus on collision repair and vehicle restoration, gaining hands-on experience in frame repair, dent removal, paint prep, and panel replacement. You’ll learn to work safely with hazardous materials and equipment like welding tools and frame machines, all while ensuring vehicles are returned to top condition and meet industry standards for customer satisfaction.

What drives your day-to-day?

  • Assist in performing collision repairs on a wide variety of vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Gain practical experience in structural and cosmetic repairs, including frame straightening, welding, and refinishing
  • Learn to use the latest tools, equipment, and technology in the industry
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure top-quality work and exceptional customer service
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

What Are The Must-haves…

  • Traditional Autobody Apprenticeship or Motive Power program graduates are welcome to apply
  • Oil change & tire experience is an asset, but not required
  • Basic computer skills for work order entry, parts ordering, and digital inspections
  • Previous shop or dealership experience is preferred, especially in an autobody or repair setting
  • Physical fitness to meet demands of the job, including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and use of power/hand tools
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for road tests and vehicle movements)
