Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)

Position: Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Permanent Full Time)

Location: Parksville, BC

Expected Salary: $19.13 to $30.60 hourly

Compensation: An extensive benefits package is provided. Final salary will consider skills, experience, and internal equity, and will be part of a competitive total compensation package.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and in teams on scheduled maintenance under licensed AME supervision.
  • Maintain, modify, test, diagnose, and repair AW169 aircraft systems.
  • Complete task documentation in CAMP.
  • Use aviation tools, diagnostic equipment, and PPE properly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Perform aircraft cleaning duties (interior and exterior).
  • Follow safety policies, manuals, and guidelines.
  • Report hazards, incidents, and complete labor entries accurately.
  • Perform tasks according to Transport Canada standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Enrolled in or graduated from an accredited AME program.
  • Experience with rotary-wing aircraft, especially Leonardo AW169.
  • Experience with CAMP, Winair, or similar programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in English.
  • Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and for extended periods.
  • Willingness to undertake shift work and travel as needed.
  • Eligible for RAIC, legally able to work in Canada, hold a driver’s license.
