Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Apprentice for our Montreal Plant. Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the apprentice will prepare and operate the extruder to transform resin into rolls of plastic film while complying with quality and safety policies to maintain SQF certification.

Fluency in French (spoken and written) and strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required to support a collaborative, efficient manufacturing team in

• Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and foster teamwork.

POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Apprentice for our Montreal Plant.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the apprentice is responsible for preparing and operating the extruder to transform resin into rolls of plastic film. Given the food industry customers served by Hood Packaging and the risks associated with our manufacturing activities, the incumbent must commit to complying with all quality and safety policies to ensure the continued maintenance of SQF certification.
