Job description

  • · Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and risk assessment across company’s multiple P&C lines.
  • · Collaborate with the external Appointed Actuary to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • · Provide strategic insights to support the company’s expansion.
  • · Conduct in-depth analysis of claims experience, trends, and profitability to inform business decisions.
  • · Support the development of new products and pricing strategies to drive growth and competitiveness.
  • · Prepare and present actuarial reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • · Build and mentor a future actuarial team as the company grows.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • · 5+ years of actuarial experience in P&C insurance, with exposure to pricing, reserving, and product development.
  • · Broad knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in actuarial software and programming tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
  • · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • · Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to grow into a C-suite role.
