What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the end-to-end model development lifecycle including task design, data creation, training, evaluation, and model governance
- Innovate by thinking creatively about new capabilities generative AI can unlock for customers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and translate business objectives into technical requirements
- Develop functional proofs of concept (POCs) to test new capabilities and product concepts
- Write clean code and participate in code reviews to ensure well-managed software delivery in a production environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD or Master’s in a relevant discipline
- Experience researching, building, and evaluating natural language processing (NLP) systems
- Strong engineering skills for prototyping and familiarity with remote development workflows (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills
- Ability to effectively communicate AI concepts to a diverse audience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience designing and implementing solutions with large language models
- Relevant publications in leading conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGIR, KDD, or similar
- Experience writing production code and ensuring well-managed software delivery
