- Gain expertise in one or more subareas of research and understand applicable research techniques. You’ll also gain deep knowledge of a service, platform, or domain, and become familiar with the latest industry trends and applied technologies.
- Apply strategies provided by senior team members and incorporate state-of-the-art research. Develop an understanding of methods used in the community and gain expertise in a deeply specialized area.
- Reinforce a positive environment by applying best practices, support mentorship, and assist with onboarding entry-level team members. Maintain ties with an external network of peers and identify prospective talent when asked.
- Document work in progress and share findings to promote innovation within the group. Follow ethics and privacy policies while executing research processes or collecting information.

Qualifications (Text Only)
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
- OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience
- OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience applying Machine Learning techniques.
- 2+ years of experience coding in Python, C++, C#, C or Java.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience
- OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience
- OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, with 1+ year of experience creating publications (e.g., patents, peer-reviewed papers).
The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year. Find additional pay information here.
