As a Customer Support Engineer, you will play a key role in providing superior support to our customers throughout their product development process. You will provide expertise in software development and system integration, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will collaborate closely with internal software and hardware engineering teams to address customer issues, enhance product quality, and contribute to feature development. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze customer requirements to understand their specific needs.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of technical challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and demonstrate solutions to support customer success.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using C and C++ to showcase the capabilities of the Matrox development platform.
  • Lead client training workshops and deliver technical presentations to educate and support OEMs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and visit OEM sites to gain firsthand insights into customer requirements.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled professional who meets the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of programming experience in C and C++ for Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, IT, and cloud computing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with video, audio, and GPU processing is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues concisely and clearly.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and creative in solving problems.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.
