Join Our Team as an Applications Manager at Epiroc!

Your Mission:

The Application Manager is to support account managers & customers across the country as require. In addition, to ensure business growth by demonstrating product & service superiority.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed reports on product performance.
  • Develop technical parameters with key customer contacts.
  • Identify areas for performance improvement and propose solutions.
  • Support local business, service, and product delivery as required.
  • Document competitor activities.
  • Compile yearly market share
  • Coordinate the repairs work with suppliers.
  • Source local purchased items.
  • Product application support, working as a liaison with all PC’s.
  • Warranty claims reporting back to the factory.
  • Technical mentoring
  • Prepare Customer quotes.
  • Prepare Competitor Product cross references and Rock Drilling Tool Service quotes for RFQs
  • Performance reports for specific customers
  • To support the Business Manager with special technical projects or business-related activities
  • To gather data on product inefficiencies and potential improvements and report back to the Business Manager and team
  • Enter engineering requests for new and modified equipment

Your profile:

  • Must be experienced in and have strong knowledge of all Rock Drilling applications
  • Prior Rock Drilling Tools experience
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Report preparation and presentation good knowledge of excel, able to run spread sheets and calculations, Word.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada is required
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in English is essential; bilingual in French would be an asset.
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Business and target oriented.
  • Determination to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Able to absorb new concepts quickly.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated team player
  • Able to give presentations about products improvements / test results.
  • Able to independently drive on mine sites and deal with different departments on site.
