The Opportunity

We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join the NGIS Build & Support Team, contributing to innovative development projects while supporting long-term application stability. This role involves designing scalable systems across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers, and operational support. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, adaptable, collaborative, and experienced in systems architecture, cloud-native technologies, and agile delivery. Skills in data science, analytics, or statistics are a plus.

What You’ll Do
  • Join the NGIS Build & Support Team, a group of innovative builders passionate about technology.

  • Lead and contribute to full stack development across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers.

  • Design and implement scalable systems and architectures using cloud-native technologies.

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to conceptualize solution components and produce design artifacts.

  • Drive development efforts within agile delivery teams.

  • Advocate for best practices, standards, and emerging technologies within the developer community.

  • Provide strategic technical direction to the project's team members.

  • Provide support to end-users and manage applications for long-term stability.

  • Assist with operational support tasks as needed, contributing to maintaining system health and responsiveness.

  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong backend and infrastructure
  • 4+ years experience working in a similar capacity
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • Solid understanding of systems design and architectural principles.
  • Track record of enterprise delivery across traditional and cloud-native stacks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills in C# / .NET / .NET Core, with additional experience in Java, Python, or R.
  • Strong database and data storage technology skills.
  • AWS AI services and certifications.
  • OSISoft suite experience (e.g., PI Archive, PI Asset Framework).
  • Big Data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Glue, Data Lakes).
  • ITIL process experience.
