Zusammenfassung

Pathlion is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to design and govern application architectures across large distributed environments. You will map dependencies among applications, databases and middleware, ensuring scalable interfaces and reusable components.

Responsibilities include modeling with Archimate/UML, evaluating SOA and API-based integrations, and producing target and as-is architecture blueprints for ongoing modernization efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in developing and implementation of application architectures.
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.
• Knowledge of TOGAF ADM (preferred) or Zachman architecture frameworks including business / information / application / technology / security architecture domains
• Practical experience in Archimate and/or UML modeling in a team environment
• Experience with integration types including SOA, APIs, web services, real time and batch processing
• Experience across multiple computing platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies and communication protocols
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments
• Experience with data and process modelling methodologies, techniques and tools, including metadata structures and data dictionaries
• Experience producing target solution architecture, as-is documentation, and to-be blueprints
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and integration with on-premises environments
• Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) and awareness of emerging I&T trends
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; strong verbal and written communication; teamwork and deadlines
• Leadership, problem solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills for enterprise tech/infrastructure architecture initiatives

Responsibilities Applied to both the process and the outcome of thinking out and specifying the overall structure, logical components, and the logical interrelationships of a computer, its operating system, a network, or other conception. Defines the structure and relationship among applications, including the identification of re-usable components, quality level metrics, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces. Responsibilities also include developing, implementing and managing at least one cross-platform application in a large and distributed environment, monitor the whole system, understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction, as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code. Defines the interactions between application packages, databases and middleware systems.

General Skills

• Experience in the development and implementation of application architectures for a minimum 6 years
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments
• Knowledge of TOGAF ADM (preferred) or Zachman architecture frameworks including business / information / application / technology / security architecture domains
• Practical experience in at least one of current architecture tools e.g. EA Sparx, Archi or similar with the modeling experience with Archimate and/or UML in a team environment
• Experience and knowledge of different integration types including SOA, APIs, web services, real time and batch based, hub and spoke; experience in enterprise service bus implementations
• Extensive experience with at least two different computing platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages and communication protocols
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments
• Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applications
• Experience in the use of development tools, Computer Aided Software Engineering tools, information retrieval packages, and other software tools such as project management software and business re-engineering software
• Experience in the use of data and process modelling methodologies, techniques and tools, including a working knowledge of metadata structures, repository functions, and data dictionaries
• Experience producing target solution architecture, as-is documentation, and to-be blueprints
• Knowledge of leading edge technologies design criteria, security and recovery procedures
• Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, midrange server, enterprise storage and SAN and personal computer system technologies, related best practices, directory/messaging standards, standard facilities infrastructure/architecture management, facility service delivery processes, infrastructures policies, procedures and direction.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and integration of those technologies with on premises environment
• Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and directions
