What will you do:

As our new graduate Application/Quotation specialist, you will work in close partnership with our service delivery team as well as sales representatives and application & quotation specialists. You will aim to find solutions to our client requests and always provide a great customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inside sales activities including quotations generation for AC/DC Drives service, Engineered Drives retrofit projects and application engineering including understanding customer’s application, sections of right solution partners and System integration for AC/DC VFDs, Automation & Motion technology for services, retrofit or replacement projects.
• Follow-ups on Sales inquiries from service sales & service delivery team, service sales specialists, account managers and support creating proposals. Act as liaison between customer, service team, account manager and solution partners for Mining & Metal Industries, Oil & Gas, Cement plant, Wastewater, Automotive, Food & Bev, Pharma customers.
• Understand the Value-Added digitalization portfolio that are vital for establishing partnerships with our customers to better understand their needs while providing them with a technical advisory solution.
• Stimulate CS MC sales growth by creating relationships with service team and tightening relationships with existing customers. Specifically, the incumbent shall surpass the expectations of its customers and perform with a sense of urgency.
• Provide efficient technical support to the customer for cost-effective operations of plant by studying various applications and existing install base. Understanding of customer needs and issues related to their operations and maintenance.
• The incumbent must among other things understand how to determine, qualify, support, exploit the customer inquiry and efficiently assess the clients needs to ensure productive consultations.
• Manage services strategic account with the service sales team in an effort to develop action plans that can help us improve our position to find more business opportunities.
• Maintaining and enhancing the customer satisfaction. Working and networking with Engineering colleagues, disseminating the best practices.

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical, Mechatronic and/or Control system engineering
• 0-1 years of prior experience in the Automation system, low voltage Variable Frequency Drives system, control systems
• Basic understanding of services, retrofit/replacement of industrial drive systems & applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with sales aptitude
• Ability to manage time and resources as well as work within a team environment is essential for success in this role.
• Fluent in both English and French spoken and written as you will interact with customers and colleagues from across Canada.
