Job summary

R2 Global is seeking an experienced Application Integration Specialist in Montreal to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise integrations. The role focuses on connecting Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM, and cloud-based solutions using API-based approaches and Azure services.

About the Role - 3 days office - Montreal

We are seeking an experienced Application Integration Specialist to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise integrations across a diverse application landscape. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity between core business systems, enabling efficient data exchange, business process automation, and scalable integration solutions that support operational excellence.

Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will play a key role in strengthening the organization's digital capabilities through modern Microsoft technologies and best-in-class integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the organization's integration environment, including standards, governance, architecture, and ongoing improvements.
• Develop and maintain integration frameworks that support business growth and technology transformation.
• Establish best practices for integration design, delivery, monitoring, and support.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365, ERP systems, CRM platforms, engineering applications, Microsoft Power Platform, and other cloud-based solutions.
• Leverage APIs, middleware technologies, and Azure services to enable secure and reliable system connectivity.
• Build scalable solutions utilizing event-driven and service-oriented integration patterns.

Automation & Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate end-to-end business processes.
• Reduce manual data entry and improve operational efficiency through intelligent integration solutions.
• Promote the use of reusable integration components and standardized approaches.

Operational Support & Governance

• Ensure integration services meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting processes to maintain platform reliability.
• Manage incidents, resolve integration issues, and ensure data consistency across enterprise applications.
• Support audit requirements and maintain appropriate documentation for all integration solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and define integration strategies.
• Translate complex business processes into practical and scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations for integration-related initiatives.

Required Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise application integration or related technical roles.
• Strong expertise within the Microsoft technology ecosystem, including:
• Dynamics 365
• Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience integrating multiple SaaS and enterprise applications through APIs and modern integration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of real-time, event-based, and batch processing integrations.
• Experience supporting critical production environments with a focus on system reliability and data quality.
• Solid understanding of integration architecture, security, and governance principles.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, or ERP-driven organizations.
• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management.
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures and integration roadmaps.
• Exposure to cloud-first and event-driven integration strategies.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Azure Integration Services certification or equivalent experience
