SPS Commerce is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. You will work with a global team on environment provisioning, system upgrades, and providing specialized technical support in the Microsoft space. The Application Engineer is passionate about technology, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement. They are a subject matter expert in their applications, training support teams, resolving escalations, and engaging with product teams.

Location :

This role can be remote or onsite, open to candidates in the US, Canada, and Australia.

• Install and provision Microsoft-based EDI Software in Azure and customer environments.
• Engage with teams for system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with development and product management to improve systems.
• Support Tier 2 teams with incident recovery, troubleshooting, and training.
• Develop automated procedures for application operations.
• Participate in on-call support.
• Communicate issues affecting service levels.
• Research and resolve network problems, collaborating as needed.
• Participate in peer and cross-training initiatives.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and work with technical data and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with programming languages like PowerShell and .NET.
• Experience with SQL scripting.

Preferred Experience :

• 2+ years in technology, with AI or automation experience.
• Experience with monitoring tools, Azure, EDI, B2B integrations, Agile methodologies, SAP, Microsoft, cloud environments.

What We Offer :

Salary range : $83,200 - $124,800, based on experience and location. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k), stock plans, and more.
