Application Developer - Python | SQL | Cloud

Are you a passionate developer with strong Python, SQL, and Cloud experience? Looking to grow your career in a collaborative, high-performing environment with exposure to finance and market data? This is your chance to join a global investment firm!

We're hiring an Application Developer for a leading investment firm, working full-time onsite in their Toronto office (Monday to Friday). You'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining internal applications, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines across critical business functions like Research, Trading, Finance, and Client Development.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Python
• Hands-on with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Very Nice to Have:

• Exposure to finance or market data environments

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications
• Collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, efficient systems
• Work with modern tech: FastAPI, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Support cloud architecture and deployment pipelines

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $130K - $160K (depending on years' experience)
• Bonus: 30% annual bonus
• Extensive benefits package
