Application Architect - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:

Deliverables:

1. Prepare proof of concepts for recommended solutions and architecture.
2. Assist in developing a roadmap for the evolution of the eHealth Platform from current to future state.
3. Develop implementation, migration, and integration strategies.
4. Develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and objectives, ensuring information integrity and adherence to standards and best practices.
5. Provide support for development environments and live production systems.
6. Monitor and optimize eHealth Platform performance to ensure high availability.
7. Support the eHealth Platform as required.
8. Compensation will be based on client standards for on-call, after-hours work.
9. Collaborate with stakeholders (business teams, project managers, application support teams, database administrators, vendors, development teams) to ensure successful solution implementation.
10. Provide regular status reports to management regarding eHealth applications.
11. Perform other duties as assigned, such as updating team documentation and participating in team scrums.

Candidate Requirements:

• A university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 20 years of IM/IT experience.
• Minimum of 15 years as a Senior Programmer/Analyst.
• Proposals must demonstrate the capability to meet these mandatory requirements; otherwise, disqualification may occur.

• Experience with Java and JavaScript (10+ years).
• Experience with EMPI systems (e.g., Initiate and Infosphere) (10+ years).
• Experience with Oracle databases (10+ years).
