Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional in-home servicing of major appliances to customers.
• Conduct assessments to determine appliance issues.
• Resolve installation and repair issues.
• Estimate repair or replacement costs.
• Order parts and maintain inventory levels.
• Communicate assessment and service details to customers.
• Assist customers in optimizing product performance.
• Complete detailed service documentation and reports.
• Follow all health, safety, security, and departmental procedures.
• Maintain shop tools and vehicles properly.
• Prepare necessary reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience or education in major appliance service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Technical, investigative, and analytical skills.
• Punctuality and dependability.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Appliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain one.
