Job Description

Bamford Produce Company Limited, a trusted name in fresh produce distribution, is currently hiring Apple Packing Workers to join our fast-paced production team in Mississauga, Ontario. This position involves sorting, grading, and packing apples and other fresh produce to ensure only the highest-quality products reach our customers. Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort, and grade apples based on size, ripeness, and quality
• Pack apples into boxes, crates, or trays according to company standards
• Label and seal packages accurately and efficiently
• Remove defective or damaged produce from the packing line
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the packing area
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
• Work as part of a team to meet daily packing targets
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment as needed

Education & Qualifications

• No formal education required; on-the-job training provided
• Prior experience in food packing or warehouse work is a plus
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly
• Able to stand for long hours in a refrigerated environment
• Basic English communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Able to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly Wage: CAD $16.50–$18.00
• Overtime pay after 44 hours/week
