Job summary

Canadian Tire Financial Services seeks an Apparel Product Developer to drive product creation from concept to production in Calgary. You will collaborate with design, merchandising, sourcing and production to ensure quality, cost targets and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include translating concepts into specs, selecting fabrics and trims, managing tech packs, BOMs and PLM data, plus monitoring development calendars with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in apparel product development or a related role.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and PLM systems.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and innovation teams to develop apparel products that align with the brand and customer expectations.
• Translate design concepts into actionable product specifications and manage tech packs and BOMs.
• Coordinate with PRO/vendors to source materials, track development, and ensure timely delivery of samples.
