Capco is looking for talented, innovative and creative people to join our growing team focused on our financial services clients. We seek an experienced Technology Delivery Lead with exceptional domain expertise who can work directly with our clients on mission-critical projects.

About the Role

The client mobile application team is seeking an API / Microservices Developer to help us create and launch our mobile app. As an experienced application developer, you will be expected to deliver clean, readable code, collaborate closely with the Android tech lead, and work seamlessly with other team members.

• We craft high-quality, peer-reviewed code with a plan-implement-pivot approach. QA is embedded in our development teams from day one.
• Work closely with dedicated designers and product owners for feedback and requirements.
• We are committed to ongoing learning with regular discussions on development concepts and tools.
• Developers own the product and decide on deliverables within each cycle.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years' experience in API / Microservices Development.
• Excellent analytical skills utilizing Computer Science fundamentals (Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns).
• Ability to work both as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.
• Capability to take high-level requirements and break them into manageable tasks.
• Skill in identifying flaws or weaknesses in existing code and improving it.
• Ability to consider business requirements when discussing development risks and opportunities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with React or React Native, and familiarity with MVP/MVVM/MVI design patterns.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining meaningful unit tests, using dependency injection and data mocking frameworks.
