Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking an API Engineer to design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments in the Toronto area.

You will collaborate with architecture, DevOps, QA and product teams to ensure performance, security, and reliability, implement API versioning and lifecycle management, and help drive CI/CD and testing practices. The role offers a challenging opportunity to contribute to enterprise modernization

Role Description

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices
• Integrate APIs with internal systems, third-party services, and cloud platforms
• Ensure API performance, scalability, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, DevOps, QA, product)
• Implement API versioning, documentation, and lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Follow best practices for CI/CD, testing, and deployment

Required Skill Set

• Design, develop, and manage scalable APIs to enable seamless integration across digital, legacy, and cloud platforms, supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per annum
