Career Strategies is interviewing for a Grounds/Maintenance Tech with basic mechanical skills for an Apartment Community in Vancouver, to start immediately! We're looking for candidates with an outstanding work ethic, reliability, and great communication skills. Earn weekly pay, NO weekends required!

Job Details

Job Title: Grounds/Maintenance

Hours: M/W/F 9am-5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch (subject to change)

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping, landscaping, cleaning, power-washing, interior painting, and full unit turns.
• Interact with residents to identify, diagnose, repair, and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, A/C, heating systems, appliances, stairs, railings, gas fixtures, carpet, tiles, flooring, etc.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Complete full turns/make-readies promptly.
• Remove trash from office areas and the community perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparing market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and perform assigned maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Assist in cleaning available apartments and models.
• Possess basic maintenance skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliances.
• Assist with snow removal if applicable.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues.
• Report maintenance concerns for repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Uphold company policies, goals, and values.
• Communicate effectively with residents and document interactions.
