A leading diversified natural resource company based in Vancouver is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a 2 to 3 months contract with the possibility of extension. The role involves data entry, account reconciliations, and maintaining financial records, offering a competitive hourly wage. Our Client based in Vancouver is looking to onboard an AP Clerk to join them for a 2 to 3 month contract to start with potential of getting extended. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading diversified natural resource company that is committed to responsible mining and mineral development.
Advantages
Monday - Friday FT hours
Hybrid position, 2 days in office a week

Hourly rate between $27 / hr to $30 / hr

Responsibilities
Data entry of invoices (backlog of invoices to enter)
Perform account reconciliations
Maintain files and records
Maintain strict confidentiality with all information
Ability and willingness to cross-train with other positions in the finance department and provide coverage for absences in those positions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
