Our Company

M2 Learning is a tutoring service for all grade levels looking to pursue educational success. Our services are designed to tailor various learning styles and offer additional support to students in primary, secondary and college level. We offer English as a Second Language (ESL), English Language Arts (ELA), Math & Science and Admissions support in the Montreal area to Chinese communities. Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AP Calculus Tutor to join our tutoring team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in teaching Advanced Placement Calculus to secondary students in Montreal. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to instruct effectively, and a proactive approach to supporting students. Familiarity with the High-school and CEGEP school system and content is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons in AP Calculus.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs of each student.
• Create a positive and inclusive class environment that encourages respect and collaboration.
• Provide academic support and feedback to students regarding their progress.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities related to Mathematics.
• Assist with all other duties related to private and or group tutoring.

Requirements

• An educational background in Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring at the AP level.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
• Speaking Mandarin is an asset.
• English is mandatory.

Hours: 6 hours weekly (part-time contract)

Location: in-person in Montreal (H3S 2S2) and online if applicable

Salary: Starting at 32$ per hour
