Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Ontario, Canada, seeks a Corporate Controller to lead a hybrid AP/AR team and drive process efficiencies. You will review coding and expenses, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage cash forecasting and accruals while supporting audits and reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, accounting expertise, and experience with multi-currency transactions and SAP. A related degree and 5+ years in accounting are expected.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in accounting, finance or business administration.
• 5+ years AP/AR experience.
• 2+ years in a manager role with multiple direct reports.
• MS Excel/pivot tables experience.

Knowledge and Education

• Post secondary education in accounting, finance or business administration

Work Experience

• 5+ years Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
• At least 2 years experience in a manager role with multiple direct reports.
• Intermediate experience in MS Office (Excel), including pivot tables and working with advanced reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of multi-currency transactions and accrual accounting concepts.
• Experience with SAP would be considered an asset.
