Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
  • 2 years of experience with security development, computer and network security, and security protocols.
  • 2 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
  • Experience with reverse engineering and malware analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using forensic analysis to investigate ad fraud incidents, understanding attack vectors and actor methodologies.
  • Experience with fraud detection in mobile platforms.

About the Job

Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Developers work with network equipment and actively monitor systems for attacks and intrusions. They also collaborate with software developers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

This role involves building defenses against automated and distributed spam attacks targeting Google's ads ecosystem, offering a challenging environment to contribute to a digital world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent. Specific details will be shared by your recruiter during the hiring process.
