Job Summary

In Vivo Technician– Toxicology

As an In Vivo Technician for our Toxicology team in Sherbrooke, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of the animals and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Primary Responsibilities include:
  • Perform technical tasks (administration of test drugs, blood sampling, etc.)
  • Observe animals and collect data from our studies (Bodyweight, food consumption, etc.)
  • Maintain the living conditions of the animals according to the highest standards of well-being in the industry (Handling animals and cleaning of rooms)
Key Qualifications (training provided if needed):
  • College Diploma in Animal Health, Environmental and Wildlife Management, Biotechnology, or a bachelor’s degree in Biology or related Animal Science discipline
  • Understanding of written English
  • Good observation skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.

Please note: Upon hiring, an annual tuberculosis test will be required at the company's expense.

  • Annual bonus based on performance
  • Schedule: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week), with possible overtime, weekend rotation, and bonus ($2.75/hr)
