Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• Architect and guide the development of end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
• Design and implement user interfaces to create a great user experience

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in UI development using modern frameworks such as Angular
• Strong understanding of scaling and performance optimization for web frontends and their interactions with API layers
• Familiarity with BDD / TDD concepts and practices
• Experience scaling and performing optimization of web front-end and interaction with API layers
• Experience implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS
• Familiarity with Cloud Database Services
• Familiarity with modern SDLC tools, including Git, Bamboo, Jira, or similar

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of derivatives, pricing, risk management of structured products, options, and more exotic derivatives
• Knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and reporting
• Experience with Unit Testing, Mocking, Performance Testing (e.g., Junit, Mokito, Blazemeter)
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs with Python

Compensation offers are based on experience, credentials, education, training, role demand, skillset, and market considerations. Most candidates are hired within the range of CA$125,000 - CA$160,000.
