Job summary

NTT DATA North America in Montreal, QC is seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to design, implement, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Spring. You will build backend services, APIs, and business logic, and collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires strong Unix/Linux experience, DevOps deployments, and solid problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Backend Development experience with Java, Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat (Preferred).
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, DevOps deployments, including executing commands and navigating the shell (Mandatory).
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade web applications.
