Infosys is seeking a Angular Azure Lead Developer.

This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation across testing types, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta, or willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the relevant field may substitute for each year of education.
• Experience as a highly skilled Android developer with over 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates authorized to work in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome. Immigration sponsorship cannot be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Java, Android build systems, and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Android development tools and technologies, including Jetpack Compose, Room Database, Retrofit, and Firebase.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, including design patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of memory management and concurrency.
• Understanding of Android internals, UI design principles, patterns, and best practices for high-performance, low-footprint apps.
• Experience building Android apps from scratch with a focus on architecture, familiar with MVP, MVVM, VIPER, etc.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Familiarity with third-party libraries, APIs, web services, and JSON, such as Dagger, RxJava, Retrofit, GSON, Jackson.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and Mockito.

Additional Information:

The estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in Ontario is $89,004 to $115,491.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods, with communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Extensive travel may be required based on client and project needs.
