Horizon Health Network invites applications for a full-time Anatomical Pathologist in the Saint John Regional Hospital area. The role supports a comprehensive diagnostic pathology service, teaching of medical students and residents, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences.

The successful candidate will join a collegial department within a teaching hospital, with opportunities in molecular diagnostics and advanced pathology areas, while contributing to education and research

Qualifications

• MD degree (or equivalent) is required.
• Certification in Anatomical Pathology by the RCPSC (or equivalent) is required.
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
• Demonstrated excellence in diagnostic surgical pathology.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Commitment to teaching, quality assurance, and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provide diagnostic anatomical pathology services, including surgical pathology and intraoperative consultation.
• Participate in subspecialty sign-out and multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Contribute to quality assurance, accreditation, and laboratory improvement initiatives.
• Participate in medical education for students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities as desired.
• Share in departmental on-call responsibilities.
