Job summary

TD’s Advanced Analytics & Insights team within Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) Canada seeks an Analytics & Insights Manager to advance detection capabilities. This in-office role focuses on uncovering high-risk customer connections and delivering data-driven risk insights and actionable recommendations.

You will lead development and operationalization of detection methods, collaborate with investigators, data scientists, and technology teams, and present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Core skills: SQL, Python for data analytics; statistical thinking and problem solving; data-driven storytelling and visualizations (Tableau/Power BI).
• Domain knowledge: Anti-financial crime and regulatory context beneficial.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Work Experience: 2-3 years in analytical fields.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial crime typologies into detection strategies and validate findings.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis to identify emerging risk patterns and insights.
• Synthesize data-driven findings and present recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assess model coverage, identify gaps, and develop insightful visualizations.
• Translate business problems into structured analytical questions and deliver solutions.
