Reporting to the Leader, Enterprise Data Science & Analytics Integration, the role involves collaborating with Data Office functions and internal stakeholders, including external clients. It is ideal for a seasoned developer experienced in analytics, MLOps, and ML engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Transform research and proof-of-concepts from data scientists and ML engineers into scalable, fault-tolerant jobs.
• Enhance our enterprise data platform to improve user experience and accelerate internal analytics.
• Create assets and utilities to boost productivity, including automation tools and templates.
• Develop frameworks and standards based on best practices to address stakeholder concerns.
• Provide expertise across our tech stack to data scientists and developers.
• Communicate trade-offs of implementation options and secure stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain sustainable and clean code to minimize technical debt.
• Refactor existing data products to reduce technical debt.
• Develop automation solutions, including CI/CD pipelines for Python software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• Preferred 2+ years in software development or data science/engineering, especially with external deliverables.
• Experience with production-grade software with dependencies; clean, documented, maintainable code.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience manipulating large datasets with various tools.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and data processing paradigms.
• Extensive Python experience, some exposure to PySpark or similar frameworks.
• Eligibility to work in Canada for Interac.
