Job summary

SiteDocs, a GoCanvas company, seeks an Analytics Engineer I to collaborate across teams, evaluating customer data needs, designing data models, and delivering effective visualizations. You will work to enable data-driven decision making and influence our analytics strategy.

You will write and optimize SQL, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and develop scalable data models while mentoring teammates and contributing to best practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of SQL experience, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
• 1-3 years of ETL/ELT development experience.
• 1-3 years of data modeling experience.
• Experience with BI data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Looker).
• Familiarity with transformation frameworks such as dbt.
• Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language for data transformation.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of data quality, testing, and validation practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong mentoring and collaboration skills.

Position Overview:

As an Analystics Engineer I, you will entail collaborating with multiple teams across the organization to evaluate our customer’s data needs, design data models, and produce effective data visualizations to enable data-driven decision making. What You Bring:

We take into account an individual's qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected base salary range for this position is about $108,400 - $126,500 CAD. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
