Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data manipulation and analytics architecture.

We're seeking an Analytics Engineer to build robust analytics infrastructure and lead large-scale data platform projects at KOHO. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact using cutting-edge technology and AI!

Your Mission

You'll lead large, multi-month analytics infrastructure projects including:

  • Monitoring and optimizing complex DBT job structures across multiple domains

  • Designing multi-domain marts following various modeling frameworks (one big table, entity tables, Kimball, data mesh)

  • Developing complex metrics on big datasets using DBT and the DBT semantic layer

  • Using DBT Core for development and DBT Cloud for orchestration while applying software engineering best practices

  • Productizing new technology workflows and training the team to use them

  • Monitoring and optimizing AWS Redshift warehouse performance

  • Building automated data quality monitoring with tools like Elementary

  • Creating scalable, self-service analytics infrastructure

Technical Excellence You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in data manipulation and analytics architecture

  • Advanced expertise in DBT (incremental modeling, materializations, snapshots, variables, macros, jinja)

  • Strong SQL skills and query optimization experience

  • Experience with AWS Redshift, DBT Core, DBT Cloud, and DBT semantic layer

  • Proficiency with VS Code and modern development workflows

  • Strong opinions and practical experience leveraging AI tools like Claude for code development
