Job summary

Aspect Biosystems is seeking an analytical development scientist to design, execute, and optimize analytical methods for characterization, release, and stability testing of biologics and advanced therapies. You will qualify and validate methods per phase-appropriate regulatory guidelines.

You'll perform routine analytical testing, record and report data, author SOPs, troubleshoot method issues, and work cross-functionally with Process Development, Quality Control, Research & Development, and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in analytical development within biotech/pharma
• Analytical techniques include flow cytometry, ELISA and cell-based assays
• Familiarity with GxP principles (GLP, GMP) and regulatory expectations for analytical method development, qualification and validation for biologics or advanced therapies
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical troubleshooting approach
• Eagerness to learn new techniques and contribute to process improvements

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and optimize analytical methods for characterization, release, and stability testing of materials and products
• Qualification and validation of analytical methods per regulatory guidelines
• Perform routine analytical testing to support process development and early-stage stability studies
• Record, analyze, interpret, and present data; author reports, protocols, and SOPs in compliance with GxP
• Identify and troubleshoot analytical issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Process Development, Quality Control, R&D, and Manufacturing
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments and ensure proper functioning
• Contribute to robust analytical quality systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
