Relevant to the global SAP manager based in France, the Business Process Analyst in Logistics is responsible for supporting and managing SAP Logistics requests for all HTI Group users across its sites in America and Europe. The role also involves contributing to the development of innovative and efficient solutions within a continuous improvement mindset.
Specifically, as the owner of the SAP module and process, as well as integrated satellite systems, you will:
For ongoing activities:
- Assist users by adapting identified solutions;
- Perform corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance, prioritizing urgent issues;
- Identify and update documentation;
- Provide Level 2 support and advice in accordance with service contracts (quality, security, etc.);
- Stay informed of evolving functional/technical knowledge to ensure the sustainability of solutions and processes;
- Collaborate with companies to analyze and advise on optimal usage;
- Participate in the development and monitoring of investment and operational budgets;
- Ensure coherence and evolution of the IT landscape concerning repositories, rules, approaches, methodologies, business objects, and tools;
- Develop and propose solutions, making timely decisions;
- Conduct regular follow-ups and escalate issues beyond routine scope to management.
For project responsibilities:
- Define the functional and technical architecture of the information system within your domain;
- Identify, organize, establish, and monitor project resources and schedules;
- Prototype and configure new application components to meet desired changes, adhering to standards and procedures;
- Lead tender processes for external service providers;
- Monitor project budgets;
- Organize and lead project reviews.
General skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management (GIS), or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of SAP experience in a similar role;
- Significant operational experience relevant to modifying logistics flows;
- Extensive SAP consulting experience, particularly with LE WM and EWM modules;
- Knowledge of ABAP language;
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel;
- Comfort with project management processes;
- Strong ability to understand issues and propose tailored solutions aligned with organizational vision;
- Collaborative leadership approach;
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written) for communication with internal and external clients;
- Availability to travel a few times per year.
