$76,800 - $115,200 CAD. This position is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation based on company and individual performance. The Senior Computer Forensic Analyst, Insider Protect-Forensic/eDiscovery, supports the protection of organizational assets and human resources across all TD enterprise-wide locations (including remote offices) by providing advice, planning, and support for Cyber Threat Management leadership.

You, As The Senior Computer Forensic Investigator
  • Conduct complex and sensitive investigations across North America as part of a skilled team.
  • Apply methodologies to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence.
  • Stay updated on emerging technology threats.
  • Collaborate with various departments and external law enforcement to investigate cyber incidents.
  • Research and develop new digital evidence analysis methods.
  • Support and develop procedures, standards, and provide advice to management and staff.
Job Requirements
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead digital evidence and cybercrime investigations.
  • Collect evidence from various digital devices and systems.
  • Ensure the forensic integrity of hardware and software environments.
  • Improve operational efficiency through tools and processes.
  • Respond to urgent and sensitive investigations.
  • Prepare professional reports and testify in court if needed.
Required Competencies
  • Knowledge of digital forensic principles and tools (e.g., EnCase, Cellebrite, Splunk).
  • Understanding of investigation principles, evidence handling, and legal procedures.
  • Ability to communicate technical matters clearly.
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention tools and investigations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage crises and priorities effectively.
  • Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, OSX).
  • Knowledge of malware analysis and network services.
  • Experience with programming or scripting is an asset.
  • Background in security disciplines like incident response.
Key Relationships
  • Collaborate with Cyber Threat Management, GSI, Legal, Privacy, HR.
  • Interact with senior executives across departments.
Additional Information

Qualifications include relevant certifications (e.g., EnCE, CISSP, CCFP, CISM, GIAC), a degree in Computer Science or related field, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in forensic investigations.
