Functional Analyst (Permanent position)

Hybrid - 2 days / week onsite | Minimum 5 years of experience required

We are seeking a Functional Analyst with strong experience in cloud-based integration environments to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, and who can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

Your Role

As a Functional Analyst, you will :

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into functional specifications.
• Analyze and document business requirements, propose solutions, and support the design of systems that align with business objectives.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
• Conduct impact analysis for system changes and recommend appropriate modifications.
• Support testing activities by preparing test plans, test cases, and validating results.
• Provide ongoing support for existing applications and respond to user inquiries or incidents.
• Act as a trusted advisor to product owners and developers, offering guidance on functional alternatives aligned with system architecture.
• Map functional requirements to system features and capabilities.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of API integration, Java environments, and cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architecture is a strong asset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Experience working in hybrid environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Have

• Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with system architecture and data modeling.
