Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst, Margins plays a critical role in supporting the financial performance of the Pharmaceutical Distribution and Operations business unit. This role combines deep analytical capabilities with operational accounting and business partnership. The analyst will lead margin analytics, support forecasting and planning cycles, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly margin analytics across customers, product classes for Pharma distribution
• Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual, forecasted, and budgeted results
• Deliver pertinent reporting and storytelling to various levels of management to produce actionable insight for strategic decision making
• Identify trends or issues requiring attention and communicate them effectively to appropriate stakeholders
• Lead the monthly rolling forecast, annual budget planning, and long-range strategic planning processes
• Support the accounting cycle including journal entries, reconciliations, and customer reporting packages
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align financial insights
• Improve processes and drive efficiencies in financial reporting through use of automated tools
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy.

General Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external business partners to resolve pending issues and facilitate a positive working relationship, optimize current processes and reduce defects
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the assigned process and other duties as assigned by Management
• Provide ad hoc support during internal and external audit reviews
• Lead, coach and guide the business users to achieve desired business results.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation (or in progress) required.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to work with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP COPA, Power BI, or similar tools is an asset
• Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
