The BI Analyst is responsible for efficiently managing and supporting the production and delivery of reports in accordance with established schedules. He/she will oversee the McKesson report portal inbox, addressing both scheduled and adhoc report requests. The BI Analyst will analyze customer needs, document reporting processes and requirements, and optimize them for enhanced efficiency. He/she will develop and maintain information tools and reports, making recommendations for enhancements when necessary. Managing the SSRS Portal reports, including creating, modifying, and deleting them. The BI Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting, optimizing reporting processes, and providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.

Section A – Specific Responsibilities

  1. Efficiently manage the McKesson report portal inbox through proactive communication, prompt response, and effective expectation setting
  2. Support of scheduled report production and delivery (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.)
  3. Process, prioritize, and fulfill on-demand/adhoc report requests efficiently
  4. Manage external data requests and ensure accurate information is provided
  5. Analyze and identify customer requirements for reports
  6. Document and optimize reporting processes
  7. Ensure consistent data quality standards for information tools and reports by conducting regular audits and implementing corrective measures when necessary
  8. Create, edit, and delete reports within the SSRS Portal, effectively overseeing their management
  9. Mentors and trains internal stakeholders in SSRS/ Cube reporting

Section B – Position Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Business Intelligence and/or Advanced Analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field required
  • Proficient in SQL to query off databases such as Oracle and Snowflake
  • Minimum 2 year's experience with Power BI
  • Good knowledge of MS Access and some knowledge of Databricks, R and/or Python. Proficient in the use of PC based office software (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) ETL / Data Warehousing understanding
  • Willingness to learn in an environment in constant evolution and transformation
  • Details oriented and very organized
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Hands on experience with multiple data sources including structured and unstructured data sources
  • Experience or knowledge of datascience techniques and advanced analytics approaches. Experience working in agile team/Scrum

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$66,400 - $110,600
