Job description

The Operation Analyst, Fund Operations will be part of a dynamic and knowledgeable team with a variety and distinct responsibilities ranging from Funding & Trading, Fund on Fund capital stock allocations, Fund initiatives as well as supporting internal and external audits and stakeholders.

The successful candidate should have some background and knowledge of operations fund lifecycle, including client transfer agent systems and processes, accounting skills, and an ability to build relationships with impacted stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities :

Ensure Funding and Trading are processed accurately within tight deadline.

Perform VPA (Funding & Trading System) and validate all input / output files and review the controls.

Participate to All day-to day Trust Accounting activities / tasks.

Evaluate and process adjustments required on Trade and Cash Movement.

Prepare Daily Management Summary Report for Management Review.

Monitor activities on Non-Standing Orders / Special Funds

Answer emails in a timely manner & communicate with other departments within Manulife and Outside.

Prepare Daily Stock cash movement and communicate activities with various stakeholders, assist in Audit as required and additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with 1-3 years of relevant financial services industry experience.

Ability to work independently and as a team with a customer focus

Detail- oriented with a high level of accuracy

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Demonstrate initiative and take responsibility

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to break down an issue, isolate and resolve the problem(s).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Proven task management skills adhering to deadlines.

Flexible start time. Should be able to start at 7 : 00am

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Québec.

Salary range is expected to be between

58,275.00 CAD - $97,125.00 CAD
