Overview

The User Support Analyst (IT Support Technician) reports to the Support Services Director and is responsible for providing support to all staff and associates.

Responsibilities
  • Provide remote or on-site user support as needed
  • Offer technical support for various KPMG software, including installation, application interactions, printing, storage, etc.
  • Configure PCs with appropriate basic environments, install printers and specific software
  • Troubleshoot issues with peripherals such as printers, scanners, etc.
  • Assist with various IT service projects as needed
  • Participate in communication within the IT services team
  • Perform other related tasks
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Desire to learn and develop knowledge of the firm and technologies used; ability to understand business needs
  • Ability to quickly learn software with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn and adhere to standardized policies, processes, and procedures
  • Interest in understanding user needs and providing quality service
  • Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCDST, etc.) is an asset
  • Deep knowledge of Office 365, Windows 10
  • Advanced understanding of networks and servers, previous exposure to Windows network environments
  • Deep knowledge of iPhone and Android devices
  • Experience in user support in a call center is an asset

This position requires proficiency in written and spoken English. The selected candidate will support national learning programs and communicate with English-speaking colleagues, requiring clear communication of processes to employees in anglophone provinces.

Salary Range - British Columbia

The base salary range for this position is $46,500 to $70,500, with potential bonuses. Compensation is based on location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.
