Brief description of the position :

In order to meet the needs of its clients in the IT sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for data analysts motivated to carry out assignments. The main tasks will include collecting, cleaning, analyzing and interpreting datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and help businesses make informed decisions.

Main responsibilities :

• Clean and prepare data to ensure its quality and reliability for analysis;
• Establish and document user requirements;
• Design and develop database architecture;
• Ensure the integrity, availability, usability, and confidentiality of data;
• Structure data to facilitate its use by various systems.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any other related field;
• Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in data analysis;
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills to structure data, ensure integrity, correct errors, and determine the best methods to address client challenges;
• Extensive experience with analytical (OLAP) and transactional (OLTP) data models and tools for their utilization;
• Proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and SSIS technologies and tools;
• Ability to contribute during product development to ensure the usability of generated data;
• Capable of designing, building, modifying, integrating, testing, and implementing data models and database management systems;
• Ability to communicate effectively in French, both orally and in writing;
• Proficiency in Business Objects or other reporting tools, an asset.
