Position: Accounting Analyst

Location: Town of Mount Royal (Hybrid: 1 day remote)

Are you an analytical and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow your career in the investment industry? We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team and support our financial operations with precision and expertise.

Your Role:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

- Prepare month end journal entries as well as adjusting entries.

- Be responsible for Bank reconciliations.

- Conduct monthly financial analysis to support decision-making.

- Reconcile accounts and perform variance analysis.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closings.

- Coordinate with external auditors for financial reviews.

- Support the preparation of management reports and presentations.

What We’re Looking For:

- Accounting certificate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 3 years of relevant experience.

- Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).

- Experience in the investment industry is an asset.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
