Main Functions

Relevant to the VP, Supply Chain and Purchasing LHS, the Supply Chain Analyst – Private Labels will primarily be responsible for ensuring that the supply of private label finished products matches and meets customer demand within required timelines, respecting inventory rotation and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Tactical Management:
  • Develop, control, and communicate key performance indicators for the department;
  • Provide recommendations to the immediate supervisor on organizing and optimizing the Private Labels supply chain and department.
Operational Management:
  • Collect, analyze, and monitor weekly sales figures and inventory levels compared to forecasts in collaboration with customers and the Nicar International sales team to make recommendations for production adjustments and prevent stockouts;
  • Follow up on production with the planning department;
  • Prepare and facilitate Private Labels Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings;
  • Inform sales teams and clients of potential stockouts to avoid penalty charges, update client reports on stockouts and product availability;
  • Monitor and analyze client charges for private label products to implement preventive and corrective actions;
  • Measure supply chain performance and ensure delivery performance aligns with client requirements per their 'Vendor & Supply Chain' guide;
  • Manage, control, and reconcile finished goods inventories, analyze monthly provisioning reports, and make recommendations;
  • Coordinate product launches with the Nicar International sales team for supply chain operations;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, oversee purchase order issuance, approval, and tracking;
  • Coordinate logistics activities with external transport and warehouse providers;
  • Verify and approve invoices from logistics providers and department suppliers;
  • Coordinate the disposal of discontinued or expired finished products;
  • Issue and validate customer disputes with proof of delivery, and validate customer credit notes;
  • Coordinate and track EDI projects for the department;
  • Plan and coordinate departmental activities;
  • Collaborate with various sectors (sales, accounting, production, etc.);
  • Participate in various special projects.
Human Resources Management:
  • Lead and supervise department staff to ensure collaborative, organized, and efficient work.

Technical Skills

Required

  • Diploma in operations management, administration, or equivalent;
  • More than 5 years of experience in similar roles.

Asset

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or food sector is an asset.
Personal Abilities

Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Power BI);
  • Autonomy and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines;
  • Respect for schedules.

Asset

  • Knowledge of EDI systems.
