AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to transform complex project data into clear, actionable insights for the Major Projects Sector. You will partner with project teams, stakeholders and technology specialists to design and optimize BI solutions.

The role emphasizes Power BI, SQL, data modelling and governance, in a bilingual environment with a hybrid work culture that supports collaboration across roles and geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Practical experience developing business intelligence, reporting or data analytics solutions.
• Experience using Power BI, including data modelling, Power Query and DAX.
• Desirable: working knowledge of SQL, data quality, governance, security and access-management practices.
• Familiarity with ETL or data integration processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in French and English for stakeholder support; English proficiency required as stated in posting.

Overview

Join the Business Systems Team and help turn complex project data into clear, useful insights. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will work with project teams, business stakeholders and technology specialists to develop and improve business intelligence solutions for the Major Projects Sector.

You do not need to have experience with every technology listed below. We are looking for someone with a solid BI foundation, strong analytical skills and an interest in learning and growing with the team.

Your role

• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical BI solutions.

• Design data models, reports and dashboards that transform raw data into meaningful information.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data transformation processes and reporting solutions.

About you

• Familiarity with ETL or data integration processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
