Reporting to the Purchasing/Planning team, this position plays a key role in the daily analysis of supply chain performance, supporting planning activities, and integrating new products (NPI). It maintains a functional link with the Sourcing team and actively contributes to the smooth execution of NPI projects from a procurement perspective.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Daily Analysis and Planning Support: Monitor MRP/kanban suggestions, stock coverage, shortages, and planning anomalies. Identify and alert on supply risks or deviations from the plan. Produce analyses on the health of the procurement portfolio (delays, turnover, overstock, etc.). Regularly follow up on urgent matters with the sourcing team. Support planners with daily tasks (urgencies, trend analysis, parameter adjustments, etc.). Analyze inventory variations.
  • Contribution to NPI (New Product Introduction) Projects: Participate in NPI reviews to anticipate procurement needs (BOM, lead time, MOQ, etc.). Coordinate initial component orders for mass production. Analyze supply risks related to new products and raise alerts. Develop procurement processes according to constraints. Ensure that MRP data for new parts is complete and accurate in the ERP (lead time, active suppliers, etc.).
  • Liaison with the Sourcing Team: Provide analytical data to the sourcing team (volume, supplier performance, critical shortages). Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Communicate field constraints (planning, availability, ramp-up) to the sourcing team.
  • Coordination with the FFM Team: Analyze manufacturing needs / sales forecasts vs. available production capacity within a given planning horizon. Work closely with the FFM and planning departments to smooth demand during under-capacity situations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Technical: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, formulas); Power BI knowledge is a plus. Experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline or equivalent).
