• Deliver solutions quickly and effectively.
• Document the company’s existing systems design and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
• Confer with end-users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.
• Integrate networks, including WAN, LAN & Security technologies and their associated software into enterprise systems.
• Ensure system connectivity and availability of all network components.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
• Provide technical assistance during all project phases of the standard Project Management methodology.

Formal Education & Certification

• College diploma or university degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in Cisco, Fortinet, or similar technologies are an asset.

Knowledge & Experience

• 5+ years' work experience, manufacturing industry experience is an asset.
• Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
• Solid grounding in core enterprise network technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, SD-Wan.
• Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including routing/switching, security, packet captures, firewalls, and more.
• Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
