Analyst, Valuations Co-op (January 2026)

Join to apply for the Analyst, Valuations Co-op (January 2026) role at MNP.

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Valuation & Litigation Support team for a four-month co-op from January to April 2026. This team works with clients on valuations for various purposes, applying analytical skills, technical expertise, and professional judgment to assess the value of business operations and intangible assets. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide independent, reliable business valuations to help clients make informed, value-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in business, intellectual property valuations, financial modeling, and purchase price allocations.
  • Conduct industry and market research on trends, valuation multiples, and precedent transactions.
  • Prepare cash flows, valuation models, and forecasts.
  • Support the development of reports, engagement letters, presentations, and correspondence related to transactions.
  • Assist in project planning and coordinate logistics with clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify innovative ways to add value to clients and foster relationships.
  • Contribute to business development and proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with the client engagement team.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel as needed.
Skills and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance preferred).
  • Working towards CPA or CFA designation is an asset.
  • Experience in financial analysis and modeling is an asset.
  • Experience with financial statement analysis is an asset.
